What type of electrical maintenance work do we undertake?

Who should carry out the electrical maintenance?

Electrical installation or maintenance work will be carried out only by electrically competent persons, qualified to City & Guilds 2360 or equivalent. They will also carry ID cards issued by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) for electricians which is the ECS gold card. This insures that the electrician is fully qualified to UK standard for the installation of electrical installations BS 7671 – Requirements for Electrical Installations (IET Wiring Regulations).

The competent person will then issue an Minor Works Electrical Installation Certificate on completion of the work when required.
