First Call - Data Communications & Controls

We carry out Structured cabling installations for data & communications, installing Cat5 & Cat6 cabling wired point to point and tested. It is generally more cost effective for the electrical contractor to install the containment systems and cabling with RJ45 outlet to patch panel connections. These connections are then test and certified point to point ready for the clients I.T specialist to then set up and commission the system. If you do not have an I.T contractor we can provide the whole service with our partnered I.T company for your convenience For large installation works we also have qualified electrical site supervisors / mangers with CITB qualifications along with the company being CHAS approved we can insure the highest standards of installation work with the same high standard of health & safety.

Who should carry out the electrical installations?

Electrical installation work will be carried out only by electrically competent persons, qualified to City & Guilds 2360 or equivalent. They will also carry ID cards issued by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) for electricians which is the ECS gold card. This insures that the electrician is fully qualified to UK standard for the installation of electrical installations BS 7671 – Requirements for Electrical Installations (IET Wiring Regulations). The competent person will then issue an Installation Certificate on completion of the work.
